...as the pastor goes, so goes the parish ministry. I've always grieved at the pastors who are stressed, depressed, and weary and choose to do little if anything about it. Thereby we witness congregations rife, unrest and division. I certainly don't make these comments from a distance as I've flirted with that 'black hole' several years ago.
