Shepherding the Shepherds

Welcome to Grace Place Lutheran Retreats in the name of our healing Savior! Jesus Christ called each of us to an abundant life, a life in which each of us can serve the Lord joyfully and vigorously with all the gifts and skills He has given us, so that we may bring people to Christ and glorify God.
Grace Place is focused on keeping healthy church workers and leaders, e.g. pastors, teachers, DCE’s, church musicians, parish nurses, church staff, healthy…physically, emotionally, relationally, fiscally, and spiritually healthy. Loss of our most valuable human resources, our church professionals, is becoming a devastating crisis. Grace Place invites church workers and leaders to take a “pause point” to reflect on the state of their whole health, re-tool by learning new health skills and strategies to combat chronic stresses, and then rejuvenate through rest, fellowship and being in God’s Word.
Following retreats, participants may enter an internet-based, life-long learning module to further their knowledge and practice of healthy lifestyles as they continue to serve God and others by vocation and personal pilgrim walk.

“This has been a time of spiritual renewal for my wife and me, a time to connect with the Lord and with each other in a way
that we don’t always have time for in everyday life.”
